Every day you wake up is another opportunity to pursue your dreams and begin something new. So follow your heart and make great choices everyone – always – and no doubt heed the words of our President Barack Obama, “Choose to listen not to your doubts and fears, but to your greatest hopes and highest aspirations.”
A special thanks to my photographer Dana Patrick for these amazing new pics. Have an awesome day, and whatever you do, remember to get your workout in!

Another great American city in my sights. Literally.
Love my nomadic lifestyle this summer, experiencing the unique flavors of Austin, Dallas and now Denver in less than 100 days.
The Mile High City is quite a wonder. Beauty, sunshine, Red Rocks (below) and healthy people everywhere, no doubt making Denver an amazing place to live. Not to mention cool neighborhoods to explore like LoHi, Capital Hill, RiNo, Downtown, Baker, LoDo, West Colfax (where I live) and the Highlands. And don’t forget my favorite walking trail around Sloan’s Lake Park with an amazing view of the majestic Colorado Rockies (below). Simply awesome.
Special thanks to the Universe for allowing me the opportunity to traverse this great nation, and to all the friendly locals and business owners I’ve met along the way.
So take it from me…one who has called home to more than 12 major U.S. cites, if you find yourself with three months to spare, definitely check-out the splendor of Denver. You won’t be disappointed.
Have an awesome day everyone, and get your workout in.
With Love & Light to those who gave their lives on 9/11. RIP – R
Whether you’re a big kid, little kid or forever a kid at heart like me, you’ll love it at the Dallas Zoo!
Since my childhood days plus our time filming Zoo Yoga in LA for my Yoga Survival Guide, I’ve always been a fan of zoos. So to all you thrill seekers and families looking for some good old fashion fun in Dallas, get your butts over there and you won’t be disappointed. From Hippos to Cheetahs to Elephants to Crocodiles, you’ll find all types of animals that will surely impress.
Hey everyone, come to Austin, Texas and get your Tola Yoga groove on before it’s too late! Because like they say here in The Lone Star State, the only sure thing in life are death and Texas…and now of course, Tola Yoga.
Classes run the month of July and no worries about bringing your mat & towel because they’re provided free of charge. Better yet, use my promo code TOLAYOGA on their website (click HERE) and get a 50% discount of all class passes. Not to mention Castle Hill’s current promotions on spa services including therapeutic massages with aromatherapy, acupuncture featuring Acu-Moxa therapy, skin care and their muscle balancing M.A.T®.
Too good to pass up?
No doubt, especially if you’re visiting from out of town or out of the country for that matter. Because who needs to sweat it out in this 100 degree sweltering Texas heat when you can just take my class.
Another day, another workout…in another great American city:
How fortunate I am to experience and explore the #1 place to live in the United States for the past two years (U.S. News & World Report), the “City of the Violet Crown” with its unofficial slogan “Keep Austin Weird”, the state capital of Texas as well as the southernmost state capital in the contiguous 48 states, the “Live Music Capital of the World” and of course, home to the music, film and interactive festival, South by Southwest (SXSW), not to mention the Austin City Limits Festival(ACL) held every year in Zilker Park.
Austin also marks the 7th major U.S. city in as many years where I’ll be teaching my fitness style of Tola Yoga through the end of July. Because no doubt life is all about the journey while relentlessly pursuing your passion, regardless of where it takes you.
Have an amazing Father’s Day everyone, and get your workout in!
In our Tola Yogafinale of 2017, we could have been laser-focused on sending out boatloads of Love & Light. But I wanted to praise the mighty powers of two other L words that can really change your life. Launch & Let Go.
As we began our challenging yoga workout, I told my amazing students to focus their energies on launching, i.e., beginning, three new things in the first three months of 2018. It doesn’t matter what they are, as long as they serve you well. Like a daily fitness program or a volunteer opportunity. Plus, everybody knows that good things come in three’s, right?
We’re talking all things Movies & Music today with my special guests, DJ Rebekka Starr and MC Freddy Figs. Starting with their favorite genre of Hip-Hop, we discuss the history of music from the early 1970’s to today’s wildly popular Electronica (EDM) and the Top 10 DJs that rule the raves.
On a beautiful sunny day in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, Tola also Talks about movies that spotlight “The Valley” including We Are Your Friends (Zac Efron) and Elektra Luxx (Carla Gugino), plus what this infamous basin is really know for: strip malls, sushi restaurants in strip malls, and of course, porn stars. We also pay tribute to the King of Hip-Hop, Eminem, and the late Adult Film Actress, August Ames, an unfortunate victim of cyberbullying. Thanks for tuning-in everyone! Peace – R
