This simple expression pretty much sums it up regarding the qualities needed to succeed at anything in life. Whether it be the Masters Championship – congrats Jon Rahm on yesterday’s win – or the yearly presentation to your company’s shareholders, or the PTA meeting with your daughter’s Kindergarten teacher, or your daily fitness program for that matter.
Simply put…just do it.
Staying calm and focused helps you “stay in the moment” while remaining free and observant – and absorbent – to perform your very best. Just be prepared and confident to let your talents shine and your fortitude prevail.
As we reach the 100th day of 2023, I hope your goals and aspirations for this year and the future remain alive and well – even when extreme patience is required to reach your final destination. And may your mind, body and spirit, aka your temple, be brimming with strength, power and positivity. Mine is, as well as my plans for a new and improved season of TOLA TALKS bringing back our LIVE broadcast format on YouTube and Spotify – something I’ve been looking forward to since the show first launched on LATalkRadio back in 2017.
Have an awesome Spring everyone…and get your workout in! Peace – R
Kudos to re-launch of Tola Talks…we had a titillating show yesterday talking Hollywood film and TV roles with the lovely and talented, Stephanie Drapeau.
Plus, before I introduce Stephanie at 27:41 minutes, I kick-off the show with some Presidential advice on how to solve homelessness and get every United States resident off the streets. I also give out the Get Your Shit Together Award to none other than The Trump Administration.
We also observe a moment of silence for the victims and families of those who perished or were injured in Las Vegas in the worst mass shooting in our nation’s history, as well as for the way-too-early passing of one the great rock-and-roll legends of all time, Tom Petty.
Thanks for listening, and have an awesome day! Peace – R
Hey everyone, I’m back in LA teaching Tola Yoga classes and hosting live entertainment events like never before. Or shall I say, like before but with a renewed energy and fiery passion that’ll knock your socks off!
Because after two years of teaching hundreds of classes to nearly ten thousand yoga students in Chicago and Seattle, it’s great to be home. Plus, I’ll be surprising you with pop-up Tola Yoga classes around town, as well as hosting live events like this Saturday, June 10th from 2-4p at the Glendale Central Library. So come enjoy the exciting sounds of the fusion-jazz band, Manjé and The Tips, and you might find yourself laughing your butt off while doing some half-time yoga hosted by yours truly.
In the meantime, check-out this short mix from YogaStyles of RICH and the Almost Famous: Chicago. And for more information about Private or Corporate Tola Yoga classes, please email [email protected]. Have an awesome day and don’t forget your daily workout! Peace – R
Join us this Saturday, August 6th from 6-8pm at Two Hearted Queen for another great Standup showcase with super funny comedians Trevor Gertonson, Julia Brown, Andrew Burcastro, Stuart Scotten, Erik Scott and Chris Trani. Get there early & enjoy the soulful sounds of Allegra Malone!
In addition to teaching free Tola Yoga classes & lessons LIVE on Periscope plus producing a Reality TV show Pilot ~ awesome news to be announced next week ~ I’m really enjoying the benefits of hosting Stand-up Comedy and Live Music showcases at Two Hearted Queen.
Because entertaining all kinds of Chicagoans with comedy and music is really awesome, not to mention Stand-up Comedy makes you better at everything. Just like Yoga! See you soon – R
Tola Talks about 1,000 teenage girls fighting at the Mall, child pornography downloaded at Starbucks, and the 1st female Episcopal Bishop kills a man on his bicycle and fees the scene (returning 20 minutes later). On Movie Monday, Rich also reviews two films: The Gambler starring Mark Wahlberg and John Goodman, and Unbroken directed by Angelina Jolie.
