The Boulevard Zen Foundation

The Boulevard Zen Foundation teaches the benefits of Yoga to women and children survivors of domestic violence. Inspired by Tola’s film, Boulevard Zen, the goal is to build a charity that: 1) spreads the physical, mental and lifestyle benefits of Yoga to women and children overcoming adversity, 2) helps stop the cycle of domestic violence, 3) reduces heath care costs – more than $5.8 billion per year in the United States alone, and 4) creates opportunities for Yoga teachers to give back and change lives while being compensated for their time.
